08 Mar Twas The Night Before Rolling Out
Their panniers are hanging on the bikes with great care,
And hope all their essentials are packed neatly in there.
They’ve checked off their list again and again,
Have visions of forgetting some important thing.
For years they have saved, planned, and prepared,
So they didn’t expect to feel a little bit scared.
So they toast to each other, trying to calm their nerves,
Before heading out in the morning on the adventure deserved.
They still can’t believe their dream has come true,
And how this day came so quickly due.
As they go to sleep, of adventures they dream,
They wake up so happy, don’t mind the alarm’s scream.
They swing themselves on their steely steeds,
And roll out on their way in flying speeds.
They wave their good-byes to their loved ones and friends,
To go live a life on their bikes and in tents.
The sun on their face, the wind to their back,
Going on this way feels right on track.
So come to the Suncoast with cheers, whistles, and bells,
And wish this couple all your farewells!
Or pack up your panniers, tent, and bike,
And come pedal along and do an overnight!
