Traveling through Southwest Scotland

Day 177 – 184 (28 Aug/4 Sep 2013) – Warning…high picture volume post!!

From the Lake District we work our way up through southwest Scotland, Glen Coe, toward Isle of Skye. Along our way we wander through little towns like Oban and Plockton. We check out a couple of ruins and castles, and marvel over the spectacular views along our hikes in Glen Coe, Loch Lochy, and Glen Shiel. The mountains around here are rugged and hiking paths are plenty, so we spend a lot of time hiking.

Hello Jason, thank you!! We have so many pictures to choose from and many times the pictures do not really do the scenery any justice. Hope you and the family are doing well and when we return we will need to go on a camping trip.
