Pedal Power Touring was invited by University Bicycle Center of Tampa and was asked to setup and demo their Co-Motion Nor’Wester Touring bikes at this year’s Bike Bash at Flatwoods. Considering this was a bicycle event, I felt it was only appropriate to ride the bike instead of transporting it there by car. From the house, Flatwoods is just over 35 miles, so I had to get on the rode pretty early. I estimated 2 hours; however, I underestimated the wind and the wind kicked my butt and added 30 extra minutes to my ride, which resulted in me arriving a little late. Over the course of the 35 miles, I pedaled on 6 lane highways and narrow back country roads before entering the park. We put together a little video of the ride & bash and hope you enjoy it.
